Before you I stood
Vibrant...alive...full of life ....full of colorful dreams.
I held out my hand...
Offering my pure heart and innocent core...
sure that you understood this sacred sacrifice.

But in time you stripped me of all that I am and all that I wanted to be and all of my dreams.

My purity is gone...my innocence has faded....my colorful dreams have washed away
To look at me ...one would never know.
I appear well and alive...but deep within, I never will be.

For I am now and forevermore a
